About the programme

Peak’s Development Programme supports and engages young people who exhibit challenging behaviour or are facing difficulties in their lives. The programme empowers schools to provide individuals or groups of students with access to explore alternative educational experiences via the great outdoors.

Our activities are structured to give progression, offer challenges and inspiration and act as a tool for breaking down barriers, establishing boundaries, and opening up communication. Over time, steps are introduced to increase confidence and boost self-esteem.

We have a proven track record in helping young people achieve. Previous participants in the Development Programmes have gone on to find employment, enrol on college courses or have found the ability to move forward with their lives and have improved their self- esteem and social skills.
